Program description

The key objective of the Program is to support and promote the development of the country's scientific research in Chemistry field, through the formation of advanced human capital.
The main goals are:

• To train scientists in the area of chemistry to generate and adapt knowledge to basic and applied scientific development the country through innovative strategies.
• Contribute to meeting the demand in Chile for high-level scientists at national and international level
• To train scientists capable of leading and / or forming research projects that generate knowledge in various areas of chemistry.
• Contribute to the positioning of the University of Santiago de Chile as a national and international benchmark for research in chemistry.
